Hello all,
I am brand new to Pano2VR and I have a question about activating a sound. I have figured out a way to create a hot spot, with an image, that is linked to a sound. The issue I have is I can't find a way to have the sound NOT play when the Node loads, but play when the linked image is clicked on. When the sound is set to -1, then clicking on the image won't activate the sound. When the sound is set to 1, then clicking the image activates the sound, but the sound also plays when you enter the Node.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi,

Have you added an action to the Hotspot that triggers the audio?

That's strange it works for me?

How are you adding sound to the project?

Ok, it's a little embarrassing, but it turned out the issue was my browser. This sound/image combo had seemed to work before, but then stopped working. At that point, I questioned if it worked correctly at all. After deleting the sound and image hot spots and creating them again, it still wasn't working. Then I closed my browser, reopened it, and exported the Web output again and it works!

Thanks for the help,

Hi Furball,

Hey, you wouldn't be the first or the last :-) I always put it down to old age myself :-P

I'm glad you found the issue.
