Hello everyone,
I'm still a beginner and I hope you understand what I want to implement. sorry my English is not so good

I have set several image point hotspots, the action: mouse click opens a container,
it contains: an info popup (with placeholder), an image popup (external image) and a text field (with placeholder - URL).
My question: is it possible to hide the hotspots in the mobile state and add buttons instead,
have the same properties as the hotspots?
Example:
Normal view:
Hotspot Node01: Mouse click container is displayed - Text: $(hs) - Image: (load externally)
Hotspot Node02: Mouse click container is displayed - Text: $(hs) - Image: (load externally)
Hotspot Node03: Mouse click container is displayed - Text: $(hs) - Image: (load externally)

Mobile view: an info hotspot: action: mouse click container is displayed:
BUTTON for Node01: Mouse click container is displayed - Text: $(hs) - Image: (load externally)
BUTTON for Node02: Mouse click container is displayed - Text: $(hs) - Image: (load externally)
BUTTON for Node03: Mouse click container is displayed - Text: $(hs) - Image: (load externally)

I am working with V7 Beta 4a, maybe someone can help me?

Hi,

Can I ask why you want to swap from a hotspot that is really a button to a button?

Do you want the button to act like the Point Hotspot and move with the panorama?

Hello Toni,
Thank you for your interest. My point of view in the panorama is a small mountain, and I'm looking at a small town. I have placed several info hotspots in the city. With a mouse click, the hotspots call up an info popup that receives the information from the hotspot, i.e. placeholders. When mobile, I just want to set a point in the city that opens a pop-up window with a mouse click. In this window, the info popups should then be listed as a text field and call up the same information as the hotspots with a mouse click. Toni, I hope the picture helps you to understand.

Hi,

Okay here you go https://p2vr.s3.ap-southeast-2.amazonaw ... index.html

Note: I've only tested on Mac desktop and iPhone. Here's a video of the result https://youtu.be/h9N51EZTaXU

Hello,
Yes, that's what it should look like. And how does that look in the skin? Mobile: The text field (point one) does the same action as the info hotspot one. Is that correct? Thank you for supporting me!

Hi,

Yes, the text fields do the same actions as the hotspots.

Hello,
Yes I understand. What I don't understand is: how does the text field know which node I mean? I have a single popup in the skin where I assign the title, image, description and url via the placeholders. The text field must know which title, etc. from which node it should call. Or do I have to create a separate popup window in the skin for each node?

Hi,

in your first post you say,
I have placed several info hotspots in the city
-
With a mouse click, the hotspots call up an info popup that receives the information from the hotspot, i.e. placeholders
now you are saying they should also go to a different node and call up an info popup on that node???

You didn't mention anything about nodes in your earlier posts!

Hello Toni,
I'm sorry if I didn't express myself properly. Sorry, but I think we mean something different. The translation from German to English will not always be correct either. I will make a sample project over the weekend and post it on the forum. Or can I send you the project directly? If you have the time and desire, you can look at the project and then understand what I mean.

Hi,
In Pano2VR 7 you can use the Cloner, Source, Hotspots.
This will make a list that can open the popups linked to the hotspots.
We showed Tony how to do this and he has now produced an excellent tutorial: https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr-v7-beta/clonerhotspots

Hi Philipp,

Here's an example that is a bit closer to what I think you are looking for...

https://rebrand.ly/MANY2ONEV2

I've set up the project with the 5 Point Hotspots. Each hotspot has a Title, Description, Image, and URL in the Point Hotspot Properties.

If you are in Desktop mode clicking on a hotspot opens the info panel, if there is a web URL in the properties then you see the web link button. Clicking on the weblink button opens the web page. Now you only need one info popup unless you want a different styling on the mobile device and then you would create a mobile info popup version by using the logic blocks to reposition and resize elements.

So you will only ever have 1 info popup element regardless of the number of hotspots.

If you go into Mobile mode either by clicking on the Show Mobile button or by resizing the browser window so it's less than 600 pixels wide you will see a single button that opens the Point Hotspot Cloner.

The cloner button uses the same actions as the Point Hotspots and doesn't require any more coding or additional content added to it. So I'm hoping this is where you are heading :-)

Cheers,

Tony
