World Wide Panorama Event called Best of 2008 was opened to the public on January 1, 2009. It features photographers from around the world.

Scroll down the Region list to find the country you are interested in seeing.

Our two entries are located in Mexico this year. 1 from the hotel roof top in Cancun and 1 from a colonial village in Yucatan called Valladolid.

You can sort the world entries by clicking the top of page text link for alphabetic listing of photographers names, Region, thumbnail and zoomable world map.

Or start at the beginning to see the previous 20 other events since 2004.

As mentioned in earlier threads... these panoramas need Apple's QTVR browser plug-in for viewing.

I last counted 175 photographers before this event closed. Will try to get a current photographer count for this event and a total 2004 to 2008 total events count.
Last I read was over 5000 panoramas from over 70 countries.

Equipment and Software Statistics are not out yet but my guess is a substantial number of entries used Pano2VR in their post processing work.

Good to see your entries Dave,

I even got around to entering this event this time as it wasn't a specific theme I needed to shoot for.
There are some beautiful panoramas from all around the world and I see plenty have mentioned that Pano2VR or Pano2QTVR were used to produce the final output file.
I my case I used Pano2QTVR 1.6.6 for this event and made sure I listed it in the equipment and software used so it will get added to the stats.
