Flash API - Get button name

I am using the Flash API to manage several pano2vr swfs within a larger project. I have successfully used onClickQtHotspot to trace the title and id of a hotspot click. Is there a way to do this with buttons created on a skin. I would like to create a button on a skin that directs the user to another area of my main project.

Basically, I would like to get the title or id of a button when clicked. I can get the instance name, but it is different for ever pano2vr swf. I am very new to Actionscript 3.0, so the solution could be pretty simple or there might be another method to achieve the same thing.

Currently I don't see a way to do this but maybe I can add an API call into a future version.
