Hi,
I know the beta is still in development, most things look great already, apart from the VR view when a menu is shown, the menu seems to get visually 'cut up' in some places by image tiles, i get funny diagonal cut-off parts. is this a known bug? for V7, to me this is the remaining part that's not really good enough to use for clients. although i really love that menu option!
I'm using oculus quest 2.

hi,
any news on this? anyone else has there sliced-up looking thumbnails in VR mode? it would be great if i can tell clients this will be solved. (and perhaps, even better, that polygon hotspots will also be working soon, just like in the Vr Tourviewer app). Vr is becoming more popular.

hi,
no idea how to do make a screen shot, as you only see it in the oculus.
but i just put the camera in front of the lens
you can see the thumbnail gets "sliced" by the menu, some more than others. without the menu popup they look normal.
expected behavior would be the menu is always in front..
i really hope it can be fixed, it looks very buggy now and i don't see a workaround....
i'm using the venus_vr skin, with just minor changes. (no idea actually how to trigger the menu? it works in this skin but i can't find out why.., how to use/program the hand controller buttons)

Hi,
As a test, using Pano2VR 7 beta 3a.
Can you go to the Advanced tab of the Web output and under Hotspots select Sharp, the Default is Smooth Motion.
Does this make any difference?

Hi,
I wonder if this is a bug, or maybe there is a workaround? i really love the menu option for VR, one of my favorite and most useful updates of V7, and i applied it to all my projects. But with these cutoffs it's not really good enough to introduce to clients.

Hi,
Is this a confirmed bug? (i want to tell my clients this is fixed soon... or if not remove maybe the Vr menu)
Also the polygons, it would be great to have them in VR too. They are quite intuitive for visitors to move around (i guess because 'hitting area' is big) with so i add them a lot recently.

David

hi,
ok i'll send a support package today, although the standard venis-vr, without any changes, also shows this behavior on my Oculus on a project that has nothing more than a few default nodes.. it could very well be some oculus error, but i can't compare it to other VR sets.
