Hi all,
because p2vr7 is no longer running on my macintosh, i meanwhile installed it on a virtual machine running under vmware fusion.
First attempt... no success. After installation at first run, it asked for license key. Entered it, but main window stayed completely white. Restarted the virtual machine, same result.
Second attempt... installed on a another virtual machine with different video settings... SUCCESS! main window shows all that it should show.
The video settings of the machine that diddnt success:
The machine that works:
Is it really the direct x and / or the opengl and / or 3d acceleration that does the difference between no success / success? Or must i search elsewhere?
Greetings from gemany

Hi Chris,
Can you say what exactly happens when you try to install Pano2VR 7 beta 4a on your Mac?
Also, can you say what Mac you have?

Hi all
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I did look around the forum.
I am using the feather_orb skin and 2 of my tour panos have pinned web elements (YT videos pinned on TV's). When navigating around in the final output the pinned video briefly appears as a large box during the transition between panos and it's quite jarring. This only happens when 'Zoom In' is chosen as transition effect. Is there a way of preventing this happening?
I've captured the behaviour here: https://youtu.be/chCLxxHx7mk
Thanks,
Dylan.

Hi dylan,
Thank you for taking the time to report the issue.
Can we confirm, do you have effects turned on in the transition, for example, zoon in before.
If you just have cross dissolve do you still see it?

Hi Hopki
I can confirm that using just cross dissolve or other effects is fine, the issue only arises when using the zoom effect.
Other than that, am loving V7.
Cheers,
Dylan

Hi,
same problem here.
I have 3 Monitors.
Only when the Pano2VR Window is on the left monitor, the menus are shown correctly.
When I move the Window to the middle or right monitor, the menus are displayed on the left monitor. Doesn't matter if fullscreen or not.
Last week the menus were sometimes shown on the right monitor.

Hi 360media,
Thanks for reporting and the description.
For a long time, we were not able to reproduce the issue.
Can we confirm, how are you connecting the monitors, HDMI or USB C?

Can I add a feature requests/change to version 7. Put the Output properties back into a separate window or just under/within the output panel.
Don't have them toggle with the other pano properties windows depending what you last clicked on. Totally frustrating to have them disappear, just because you clicked in the main workspace window.
Also when docking Windows at the bottom of the workspace, eg Tour Browser and Animation panel together, can the the tabs just be at the top of that section, there's no reason to have the tabs at the bottom and repeat the title at the top? Waste of vertical space on the interface... just have them act like normal tabs at the top of the group.

Found what I think might be a bug with custom properties... or maybe they don't work the way I think they should?
Steps:
- Created 2 custom properties as text properties, one for entry of a building name, one to add a room name.
- Added a text box into the skin and added those 2 custom variables into the text entry
- Added a logic block to define if the building property is empty then just enter the room name only
- Applied this skin to tour with about 8 panoramas
The first tour node has both entries filled with text and shows correctly.
The second tour node only has the room name entry filled, building name property left blank.
On output no text shows at all on this second panorama.
Not quite sure what I did wrong or if its a bug?
