hallo,
if you click at one of the paintings, side field opens and brings the informations. side field stays open if you click on other paintings.
it closes by clicking the cross.

https://wisocast.at/exhibition/seamaps/

customer like to have the sidbar closed if you click in the exhibition.
i tried to make a rectangle all over the whole window which has the closing command (the same as the cross).
and then shift this rectangle to the bottom of the tree in the skin-editor. i thought, that then the polygonhotspots are "over" the rectangle.
but that did not work. also playing around with the z-index does´nt work.

any hints?
thank you,
wiso

Hi Wiso,

It's not going to work with a skin element as they are always above the panorama element including any polygon hotspots you have added.

I've been wanting to have the option for a mouseclick in the panorama, while still being able to pan around, for a while. In the Output > Control section you can set a Double-Click action on a panorama to Toggle fullscreen but that's it.

Your post prompted me to take another look and I've come up with a bit of a hack that does what you want.

In this project, there are 3 nodes, Green, Black and White and two map popups, one with standard buttons and one with custom buttons. In the green node there is a polygon that, in your case would cover a painting. When you click in that region it toggles some text. If you click outside of the region it toggles the visibility of the right map.

In the Black node clicking anywhere outside of the maps toggles the visibility of the left map, on the White node it toggles the visibility of both maps.

Let me know what you think.

hi tony,
great, yeah that looks very good! seems that i can adapt it to my work.

but how did you build it? i can not understand the principle. where is the action implemented to close the fields?
and how is the trick to decide between pan around and mouseclick

would you be so nice to post/send me this project?

thank you,
wiso

Hi Wiso,

I've done a bit of work to make it more functional, you can see the latest version here: https://rebrand.ly/PANOMC2

You can navigate to the two polygon hotspot elements by clicking on the Penguin or Petrel icons.

Clicking on either the Penguin or the Petrel polygon hotspot toggles the visibility of the information window.

With the information window active you can pan or use the icons to move to the other polygon hotspot. Clicking on the polygon hotspot replaces the information window content with information relevant to that hotspot.

If you mouse-click outside of the Penguin or Petrel polygon hotspots then the information window closes

If you double mouse-click outside of the Penguin or Petrel polygon hotspots then the whole UI is closed and just the Panorama is visible. Double-clicking restores the UI.

cheers,

Tony

hi tony,

thats exactly what i need. but , sorry, i dont still not understand how you made this:
If you mouse-click outside of the Penguin or Petrel polygon hotspots then the information window closes

If you double mouse-click outside of the Penguin or Petrel polygon hotspots then the whole UI is closed and just the Panorama is visible. Double-clicking restores the UI.
i do not understand what kind field it is where the (closing)action is added on?

thank you and sorry for my obtuseness,
