Hi all,
i have a problem that is not caused from pano2vr, but i hope that someone might be here who had the same problem...

I have an old Ricoh Theta S, made some 360° movies with it to integrate in pano2vr.
When i convert the original video with the Ricoh Theta app on windows or OSX, the video begins to sway around like a drunken sailor.
When i convert the video using the Theta+ app on Android, the video stays steady as it should be. But now the Voices get "Mickey Mouse style" with high pitch.

I tried to take video track from one and audio track from the other converted video, but my old Nero 2018 cannot export 2:1 format.

So do you have any hint where i must look, where i must search to get a working video?

What hints, suggestions, recommendations do you have for me?

Which Video Editor do you use to edit 360° videos? I want to cut, insert other scenes, integrate Text, blurr faces, and car number plates, and all the other video effects?

The 360° videos can be seen here, they are the last 4 thumbnails in the preview bar on top:

Hi Chris,
Don't really get involved with 360 videos and when I do it just works, so been very lucky.
If you're not getting a response here maybe post in the Facebook group. I know not everyone on there is in the forum.
The best way to do this is in FB just say Can anyone help with this video issue, then post a link to this forum post.
The ideal situation is they post the response in the forum, but if not you can also add the Facebook link in your forum post saying answered here xxxx.
So so when people are searching they can get to the answer.

hello Hopki,
i am already member of two facebook groups, and of course i already asked there too...
https://www.facebook.com/groups/ricoh.theta.z1. (Ricoh Theta Z1 User Group)
https://www.facebook.com/groups/RicohTHETAUsers/. (Ricoh THETA Users on Facebook)

and my feeling about them is ... not very helpful. Do you know a better group, maybee one moderated by Ricoh itself?
I already got some hint for software that should be able to edit 360° videos, but i have to get used to it which needs time, and i am sill hoping for some tricks for converting the original videos without glitches.

greetings from germany
Chris

Hello Chris

The wobbly video or as you like to call it drunken sailor is no different from a still panoramic, you haven’t got the level correct to fix the problem it depends on what software you have, the software that came with the 360 camera will not be much help.

Some of software to fix these problems are not cheap, Adobe Premiere ( Video) and photoshop, will fix Text, blurr faces, and car number plates, and with a plug in, level still panoramic, less expense is video studio 2019 to 2021, the later version supports 360 video, using these kinds of software the audio will be correct.

They will be more econmical software out there but as I user Premiere and photoshop I can't point you in that direction, the learning curve for Premiere and photoshop is steep.
Photoshop would do better job of removing the tripod, You might consider using less chevrons in your panoramic there are bit confused.
