It's taken me over a week to create a so-so panoramic tour. Is there some shortcut that I am missing? There has to be a faster method to create one of these. What I can charge is not worth the labor. Any suggestions?

Hi Neal,
Can you post your tour?
Also can you give us some stats such as how many nodes how many maps etc.

51 nodes, 2 separate upstairs areas, and 1 lower level. I will post when done.

Here is a link to the pano: https://hvolnew.com/Pano/21050675/output/index.html

I have a few things I caught after uploading, but it is mostly done.

Hi Neal,

I'm curious as to what aspects of creating the tour you found took the longest time. I still totally underestimate how long it takes to create a skin, then test and modify it for mobile.

cheers,

Tony

Really it was just a bunch of small repetitive tasks, that I have not found a good way to automate. I add in a node, I then set north, then have to link to all the other nodes in view. That has to be repeated for each node. Then I have to place the nodes on the floor plan map. Which means creating a spot and setting it to be the proper node.

I also lost several days trying to get the nodes to work the way I wanted.

I need to figure out how to automate more of the process. I don't want to be making $1.25/hr for these.

Hi Neal,
Looking at your project, I would suggest using the Tour Map and Map Element in the skin.
You can use a Simple Floorplan for this project.
Have a look at this webinar: https://ggnome.com/gg_webinars/pano2vr- ... oor-plans/
You can start from Time index 26:19 as this looks at floor plans.

One thing this webinar did not show was you can use the Tour Map to also adjust the heading when speeds this up even further, please see this webinar:https://ggnome.com/gg_webinars/maps-and ... ns-part-2/
And time index 6:00.

So once you have dragged the map pins out onto the floorplan you can select the nodes and set the heading and link the nodes all from within the Tour Map.

Using the 101 example, you can then add a "Player Width" logic block to scale the container.
Or as shown in our Responsive design webinar: https://ggnome.com/gg_webinars/skin-edi ... ve-design/
Swap out the floor plan for a drop down menu that may work better with a smaller screen.
No point in scaling a map to the point you can not see it.
