i’m wondering how to sync the timing of different 360 videos to a master background audio track?
each video is of a different band member in a band.
they are all playing along to the same song at the same time.
each video has the same start and length as the master audio background track.

i want to be able to jump to any band member during the song to watch them play THAT part, at any time,.
so each video has to be internally synced to each other or a master background track.

it’s no use jumping to a different band member video and starting over from the beginning.
it has to jump to the right point in the song for each band member at any time.

this seems like a basic thing.
but also seems impossible.

is there any way to do this in pano2vr?

thanks,

randy

Hi Randy,
Each of the 360 videos would have its own soundtrack.
Then you would switch between the videos first making a note of the video time index, then on node change apply it to the next node.
To make this work you need all the 360 videos to be shot at the same time.
This is exactly what the attached skin will do.

The container with the ID CameraControl has four actions, at the start set time index to 0.
Then before node change make a note of the current time index.
Then on Node Changed apply this to the next node/360 Video.
Safari needs a slight mod to the code so the action is in twice with a Safari action filter.

Hi Randy,
The Safari tweek is already in the skin that is posted.
But if you were to look in the skin you would see there are two actions that look the same, but one is for Safari.
So nothing for you to worry about, I was just highlighting it.

oh, ok thanks.
i'm totally new to pano2vr.
i've been using 3dvista.
it's easy to use for basic stuff, but sophisticated interaction VR tours are a bit beyond it's ability.

thx again,

randy
