Low quality on small patches
I am making a series of small patches on the floor of my scene. When I extract the patch and place it in another node, the quality looks very compressed. Here is the node I pulled the patch from
. Here is the patch pasted into another node . I think it might be related to the scale or aspect ratio. The higher the aspect ratio of my patches, the more compressed they look. I am using PNG format, so there should not be any visual compression being added. This patch has an aspect ration of 4.5. The size of my patches are approx 128x32. I have tried all formats, TIF, EXR, and all have same issue. Has anyone else run into this?- Hopki

Hi,
To check my understanidng a patch image looks good in one node but compressed when used in another.
I take it all the panoramas are the same resolution.
Can you create a two-node project that shows this issue then can you create a support package as found under the Help menu and make sure you include the project file, skin, panoramas and the patch image.
So we can make the output from your files in our office.
Regards,

Hi,
For anyone following, we have the files and have been able to reproduce the issue.
Added to the list.
