Pano Tour displaying on a website

I have been sent a tour which I want to embed in my website.

I have uploaded the tour folder and all the assets to my FTP inside my public_html folder so I can link to it and host it.

I had a look on the forum previously and copied some code from a post a while ago which I though would help. The problem I have is that I want to display the tour via an iFrame (because that's what I have been used to doing with other things like Vimeo links) and that was also the suggestion on the previous post.

The tour seems to display OK but very small when I try and view it. I have tried to change the display setting to display the size of the tour stat page but whatever setting I try the tour stays the same display size.
I can however click on the bottom left of the tour and it does display full screen which is great but the main issue is the native display size.

I have a feeling that this is something to do with the export settings when they person exported from Pano2VR software?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Didn't create the tour so not sure of the export settings. I'm trying to embed into RapidWeaver.

Here is a couple of the screen grabs to show what I'm getting

Hi,

Can you post a link to the project and I can try it in an iFrame on my site to test it.

Hello, I have problems with the placement of the tour on the site. I'm not an expert and I probably did everything wrong. I reread the information available to me and if I understood correctly, I need to first upload the folder with the 3D tour to the server, and only then insert this link through the iframe into the site page... Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you in advance... )

Hi Piers,

Yes, you need to have it on a server. You might want to take a look at a tutorial I have called "Hosting External Files for use in Squarespace". Even though it's for Squarespace there is some iFrame code in there that you can use on your website. You can find the tutorial at:

cheers,

@ Tony Redhead,

Hi Tony. Thanks for posting your tutorial. I don't have an Amazon S3 account, but I'd like to simply use my Client's SquareSpace website. Can I upload the object export as a complete html5 page in Squarespace, or is just using an iframe link easier?
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,
Can I upload the object export as a complete html5 page in Squarespace
Short answer = no, longer answer = as far as I know, uploading to Squarespace is restricted to single files no larger than 20mb. Trying to upload a folder containing a tour would work. You must have the tour hosted externally and open it in a Code Block.

"Use Code Blocks to add custom code to pages, blog posts, sidebars, footers, or content areas. Code Blocks are great options if you want to embed third-party widgets or customize pages with additional functionality not available in other blocks. You can also use Code Blocks to represent HTML and Markdown or code snippets."

I'd open an AWS account, it's simple, great for publishing and storage, cheap as chips.
