Hi,

in Pano2VR 6.1.11 I have created a tour map with two floor plans (1st Floor, 2nd Floor).
Is there a skin available that automatically integrates all floor plans created in Tour Map?

thanks

Hi Sebastian,
You would need to add a map to your skin.
In the components, toolbox you will find a map component.
It does open filling the window but you can resize it in the skin editor.

Thanks, I managed to add it there and also auto-switching the floor plan is working.

What I recognized is that the floor plan is looking very soft (tried both JPG and PNG output).
The floorplans are ca 400x400px JPGs and look good in the "Tour Map".
In the skin I added the floorplan with 400x400px size and 100% skaling. When I generate the tour the floor plan maybe only 50% of the floorplan box and looks very soft.

I found a folder ..images\maptiles\FloorPlan01\7 that contains a 256x256px version of the floorplan that also looks soft -> the version used?
There is also \images\maptiles\FloorPlan02\8 with 4x 256x256

Hi,

I think I found the reason for the soft floorplan in the panorama HTML output:
1. In the skin the canvas size I set was 800x600. This seems to result in automatically using a 256x256px floorplan (no matter how big the map element is). In my case the map element was 500x500 and only 50% in the middle were filled by floorplan before. I have changed canvas size to 1920x1080 now and the floorplan is filling the full map element (but was still soft). With 1920x1080 canvas it seems to use 500x500 floorplan size...

2. With my floorplans (exact size: 400x375 and 423x400) they still look very soft in HTML output (much softer than the original).
It seems to use the four tiles created in images\maptiles\FloorPlan01\8 -> each 256x256 and looking soft
I have now manually enlarged the maps to 533x500 and 540x500 and re-added them to Pano2VR. Now the floorplans look sharp in HTML output.

So I see two (smaller) problems/bugs:
a) the final used floorplan size seems to be dependent on canvas size in the skin editor -> in my opinion it should depend on size of the map element.
b) When using small floorplans (smaller 500x500 ?) there seems to be some bad upscaling by Pano2VR creating soft output.

kind regards
Sebastian
