"Target: Forward" as default

Is there any way how to set "Target: Forward" as default?

It's the setting I use in 98% of my tour and I would very appreciate not to do it all manually.

Hi,
It depends on your workflow.
As an example, if you add your nodes to the tour map then set North, then auto-link, the default linking mode is Forward.
SO I would need to know more about your workflow.
But also you can set the target to "Forward" in the Hotspot Template, this will then use this for all point hotspots regardless of the target setting in the hotspot editor.

I usually place the nodes into the map first (while doing the north). After that, I manually go through the individual nodes and drag the visible nodes into the view.

Changing workflow to using definitely auto-link helps, thank you.

My next problem is similar though. I have my nodes always placed on the floor under the place where tripod is standing thus I need to move every auto-linked node. But every auto-linked node has a "lock position". I need to unlock all the nodes before moving them.

Is there an option to allow nodes not to be in "lock position" after auto-link?

Hi,
You can Shift + Click to unlock a hotspot so no need to move the mouse and deselect the lock check box every time.
Shift + Click will also lock it again if you feel the need.
