Hi,

I'm trying to create a tour that has multiple point hotspots which direct to different images that you can zoom in on. I've followed this tutorial for incorporating zoomable images: https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr/p2vr-fu ... -viewer-p1. However, I am now trying to have multiple photos within one slideshow, which can then be navigated to via direct node access and linking the target URL, replacing the node number after index.html#node1.

I have enabled direct node access through the html template, and I have multiple point hotspots navigating to the same slideshow. The issue is navigating to a designated node within the slideshow (as suggested is possible in the comments on the above tutorial).

Any help would be great,
Claire

I should add I am not hosting this online anywhere, but rather just compiling within my local environment and hoping to package it into a ggpkg file for students to look at... maybe this affects the answer?

Hi Claire,
Have a look at this forum post.viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15454

This uses Direct Node Access to effect a variable.
So now you can enter a URL that can open a specific node and using the variable effect which image the gallery can open.
If you're using a Pano2VR project for the gallery, then the variable can be passed to the iframe URL to open the relevant flat image.

But to check my understanding you want to show the flat zoomable image on the project open as I am a little unclear what should be happing and when.

Hi Hopki,

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure the tutorial you directed me to answers my query although I might be misunderstanding... I'm new to the software!

I would like to click on an image hotspot and have it open an image that once can zoom into, or make full screen. This part I have successfully configured. However, I would like to be able to add different images to different hotspots, and make sure that clicking a different hotspot directs to a designated node within a slideshow. The project is available at this google drive link because I had trouble attaching it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QlxMeE ... sp=sharing. In this project, the image_zoom_pan file hosts the main file, while the includes/blackcontact_zoom hosts the slideshow that appears when clicking on the hotspot. I hope that is clear.

Thanks so much again,
Claire

Hi Claire,
I think throwing Direct Node Access in the post confused me.

To check my understanding...
1) will you want to enter any node of the tour from a URL or will it always open at the same node?
2) when a popup image is open, will there be the need to change the image from the popup or will it be one zoomable image per point hotspot?

Regards,
Hopki
