Hello!

I need to display YouTube videos inside the tour (via hotspots).

Would it be possible to alter the YouTube embed in a way that it would be in full accordance with the EU-GDPR:
If you press on the hotspot the video opens, but displays a warning that the content is from YouTube and you have to accept that personal data is transferred to them, when continuing. After accepting this, the video is then loaded.

Here is an article on this problem: https://axbom.blog/embed-youtube-videos ... t-cookies/

Thanks very much!

Hi,
Does the website already ask about privacy?
If so do you want to keep asking people when they open a panorama for the same thing?

Pano2VR does not load any content and the iframe is only set on mouse click opening the YouTube video using the video element.
So nothing to track.

However, you can add a text box if you wish to advise viewers that YouTube uses cookies.
Then depending on if they say Yes or No the video hotspot will be seen.
Please see the attached project.

Ahh,
Here is a quick project, research proper text, and maybe add a YouTube logo to make it stand out.
Uses a variable and the default is to hide the ht_video_youtube template.

Thanks very much for your help!

I have just checked a tour of mine with embedded YouTube videos: https://vt.fotohof.at/galerie/vollmer-rox/index.html
Could it be possible that the Pano2VR embedding prevents cookies to be set form YouTube? I have checked with Safari and Firefox and no cookies are set from YouTube, even when I play the videos.
That would be absolutely amazing! As there would be no need for any notice whatsoever as nothing is shared.

Am I right on this one, or do I miss something here?
