Hello,

I am experiencing problems with an image patch when the tour is played on IOS devices.

The tour runs fine on android and pc, but when I use an IPad the tour crashes when I activate the patch. It is a random behaviour, but it happens a lot of times.

The patch is initially hidden and it is activated with a button. The "click mode" is set to none.

I have reduced the image patch to a minimum size but it does not solve the problem.

Is it a known problem for IOS devices?.

Best regards

Hi,
iOS has a real issue with pixel dimensions.
So to be clear not file size, but actual size.
How large are your images?
Better still do you have a link to the output online?
I have seen many time images far bigger that they really need to be, so maybe think about this, can you make them smaller?

Hi,

the image size is 4320x5408. It is the size of the patch.

I am using very high resolution panoramic images, so the patch is big.

Is it possible to use smaller images and still fit the patch size?. That would be an option.

The link to the output is:

https://s3.eu-west-3.amazonaws.com/vt.c ... Y_DOOR_OPN

The patch open and closes the service door on the right. There is a small hand that activates the patch.

Thanks for the info. I am not using patches because of this problem.

Any idea which is the maximum resolution to be safe when running the tour on iOS devices?.

Hi,
Yep that would be why then.
you can make the image smaller, try 1200px on the longest edge. You can then swap out the image and set the pixel size in the pinned images properties panel.

As an FYI you can add a much smaller image but if the size in the properties is still set to 4320x5408 then it will still cause issues with iOS.
