hi,
i have 3 identical panos, where materials are different.

i want to set them all to the same start position.

i cannot find a way, yet, to copy the start position of pano 1 to the others.

also duplicating pano 1 and changing source does not work.

any ideas?

tahnx

Hi stan,
You would use the Set North setting.
So as an example turn on the grid view, move the pano to a reference point and set that as North, then set the others exactly the same.
You can now use a Mouse Click, Open Next Panoramas, Target Forward.
Forward uses the heading (North setting) as a reference when changing nodes.

hi hopki, thanx a lot for your advice,
but in the german version i somehow cannot find "set north".

there is a setting "start view" for each pano.

but whenever i switch from pano to pano, it adjust to its own "start view".

i cannot find the way to adjust more panos to same "start view".

thanx!

Hi Stan,
Please follow :D
1) Add two panoramas.
2) Select User Data either by tab or button ay the top.

3) In the viewer turn on Grid or Centre Mark

4) Rotate the first pano and find a reference point, lined up with the Grid or Center Mark and set North

5) Switch to the next node and repeat steps 4.

6) Add a button or Hotspot and give it the action, Open Next Panorama, select the node and then Target should be Forward.
This will then open the next node using the Northsetting in both panoramas, if set accurately it will open with the same view.
As a tip, you can also zoom into the viewer when setting North to be more precise.
Of course, you can add as many panoramas as you want.

hi hopki, thanx so much for the "north" adjustment - it is now copied to all nodes. got it.
what i still cannot find now is, how to get the same "start view" position from one pano to another.....picture attached (german menu : startansicht setzen)

(goal: pano i shows building in white, second panoi shows same building coloured - nochange of view vector (eye-camera).

north is the same in both panos now, ok, but is has no influence on start positions here.

any tip for that?

thanx

Hi stan,
Head over to Viewing parameters for the opening node and set the view you want to open with.
