Hi,

I discovered today that when my site is in gyro mode, the pano vibrates eratically, even when I'm not holding the phone. It's more pronounced on iOS, but also happens on android.

Have a look:
https://the360listing.com/h905 (remember to look from a smart device - click through the welcome message, then turn on gyro icon at the bottom)

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem, or if it's something I'm doing wrong in my skin. Though I haven't made any changes to the gyro functionality in my skin for a while. If this is a software problem, I'm hoping it can be fixed ASAP, as it's currently not usable.

Thanks,
Jesse

Using my iPhone 11 Pro and all is fine here.

If using iOS can you do a screen recording so we can see what you are seeing?

Hi
Humm I can not reproduce the issue as shown in your video, the gyro is a bit sensitive and if your hand shakes it also shakes the pano.
There is a bug report in to smooth out the gyro.
There are no settings to effect this.

Just throwing it out there, has anybody else seen this?
I have tested on both Pixel3 on Android 11 and iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 14.2.
When not holding the phons I do not get any movment.

Hi Hopki,

I restarted my phone and it seemed to mostly correct the problem. The pano image seems fine, but there is still a very subtle shaking of the hotspots when not holding the phone - almost unnoticeable - but shaking none the less.

It’s acceptable enough to not redesign my site but I’m really looking forward to a smooth movement setting. As we discussed, the hyper sensitivity makes perfect sense when using a vr headset and the movement is connected to your head, but it’s a different story with the hand/eye connection.

Thanks,
Jesse
