Hi All
After consulting with Martin Hopkins he advised me to share this on the forum
I have a client that does not like the text to speech voice in the information drop down box
They say that they will pay to have a professional voice to read all the text messages out (how nice of them) is there anyway of inserting an audio icon into the main body of the information drop down box box to let people hear what is said. What i'm not trying to do is get the voice over to mimic text to speech but have an active button that plays the audio within the information box. I assume it will be through the skin element, but i'm just guessing.
Wait to hear

Hi Mark,
Yes, you just need to add a element (button) to the info box that plays a media file.
Here's a quick sample I just made https://p2vr.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaw ... dex_1.html
If you click on the info link, the info panel opens and there is an audio button in the bottom right. Click on it and it plays an mp3 file.
1. Open your project and drag your sound onto the viewer window, give it an ID and set the Loop to -1 so it doesn't automatically play
2. In the skin add a button to the info popup with the Action - Mouse Click | Play/Pause Media | 1 | voiceover
3. Just add a Stop Media action on the close button.
cheers,
Tony

Tony: That's a great little tutorial and that flare actually looks great in the sample photo.
I've been having issues with "crackling" audio playback in Safari (Version 13.1.2 (15609.3.5.1.3) MacOS 10.15.6 (19G73)) in a tour that I've been working on so I checked to see and your sample exhibited the same problem. I have mostly resolved this problem by reverting to using and exporting the projects with audio from Pano2VR 6.0.6 but it's missing some useful features such as custom image hotspot thumbnails.
Here's a video recording of what it sounds like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2e0uo44qyc9a0 ... i.mp4?dl=0
Playback in Chrome on the same computer is flawless. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

On the iMac I can replicate the cracking effect with Safari if I have my Logitech Headphones plugged in, if I switch back to Internal speakers it's fine. I fixed it by typing "Audio Midi Setup" in Spotlight, then going to Menu > Window > Show Audio Devices and changing the Format from 48,000Hz to 44,100Hz, cracking stopped immediately.I've been having issues with "crackling" audio playback in Safari (Version 13.1.2 (15609.3.5.1.3) MacOS 10.15.6 (19G73))
