I am using 6.1.9 pro 64bit on a Windows 10 laptop. I am trying to create a HTML5 output that uses a 360 video, which is a MPEG4.

The video runs, but is distorted. It looks like the camera fell on its side.

I have installed K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1570_Basic and ffmpeg-4.3-win64-static.

What else can I check or try?

I am a beginner.

Thanks,
John R

Hi John,

Sounds like the Pose Pitch Degree is off if it looks like the camera is on its side.

You could try running the video through something like the Metadata Spatial Media Injector https://github.com/google/spatial-media

I'm not 100% this will work but I use it on 360˚ videos that I upload to YouTube if it doesn't recognize the 360.

I've attached a screen capture of how the mpeg4 is displayed with the html5 output.

Hi,
That does not look like a 360 video.
Is it 2:1 ratio?
It has to be exact.

D'oh!

I was working with images and forgot about converting.

I am using a Ricoh Theta V and as soon as I converted, and then imported into Pano2VR, it worked.

Thank you.
