Hi,

I have a tag called 'Outback' but I would like to have it all lower case ie 'outback'.

I can't delete a tag and if I add a new tag 'outback' it doesn't create it and keeps the 'Outback' version.

UPDATE: once you create a new tag you have to assign it to a node or else it doesn't register it!

UPDATE: the things you learn if you go searching

Once tags are created, you’ll see them listed. Right-click a tag to do the following actions:

Rename – Rename the tag.

Remove from Project – This removes the tag from the entire project.

Assign Color – Choose a color to assign to the selected tag. This color will then be visible in the node’s thumbnail image in the Tour Browser.

Assign Symbol – Choose a symbol to assign it to the selected tag. The symbol will also be displayed in the Tour Browser.

You missed one, you can convert Auto Tags to be used in the skin.
Right button click, Export Auto Tag.

Hi Hopki,

Auto Tags are something I've never considered before and on further reading, they look very handy to have and use.

Thanks for the heads up.

I was just looking at this topic as I need to delete from the project list several tags that got accumulating.
You are correct, right click and "delte gfrom the project" BUT this can be done ONLY if the tag is assigned to a pano, otherwise, from the list there is no way to delete a tag, actully it will add it to the pano :)
So first need to add all tags top a pano then is possible to remove them from the prj.

Just a quick note :)

When you use remove from project in user data, the tag is deleted from that node and every node it's been added to. It should be adding it to nodes. If so, that's a bug. But I can't replicate this in 7.0.9.

Also, you can delete tags from a entire project by using the stamp tool: Select the stamp tag tool in the Tour Browser > Select the Tag to filter > Select all the nodes > Click the red x (Remove node from selected nodes).
