Intro video/ message

Hello Everyone,
Is it possible to play an intro video/ message ( similar to a newsletter signup or similar on a website) on a users first visit to a tour? Not the tour but the webpage with the tour.
So as an example when the user first visits a tour, an intro message / video greets them. But it they were to come back the next day, the video would not play.
I saw the supercookie reference in the js api but how can one use it. Any examples?
