Interesting. I wonder how this will affect Pano2VR features.

It will make Pano2VR panos look better then ever before ;). Pano2VR 2.2 will have Flash 10 export and all the waves will be gone!

When!when!when!

And.... will those Flash10 VR's be compatible with version 9 players?
If not (as is most likely) we'll all have quite some work ahead of us, adding an extra Flash-version detectionscript AND generating and uploading new Flash10 versions of all our VR's to our websites.
Oh well, what has to be done has to be done.

Cheers!

Embedding the Flash10 pano with swfobject should provide an automatic upgrade for users with Flash 9 installed - or am I wrong?

Sadly installing updates/upgrades of plugins like Flash is not possible for many (corporate) users, automatic or not, so we'll probably have to keep our version 9 content available for quite some time.
Nothing to be done about it I guess.

Yes.... simply "spread time"... on targeting end-users (~ 6 months) for waiting period....

In one archive (All "junk" for two systems together MAC\WIN)

Thank you !

Yes that link lets me download a 41mb file.

"10/15/2008 This update of Flash Player 10 contains additional bug fixes. The update replaces the Debug and Release versions of Flash Player 10 browser plugins, standalone players, and Test Movie players that are included in the initial release of Flash CS4 Professional (player version 10.0.2.54). All users are encouraged to apply this update. These new players are version 10.0.12.36."

There is an option in swfobject to provide a webpage with alternative content, for example with a Flash 9 pano.

I've just installed the v10 plugin and have noticed that autorotate stops when you go into fullscreen mode. Can anyone else confirm this. (Win XP, IE7 and Firefox3)

Adobe staff obviously were lazy to publish apart each files...

Hi Roy, Rotation continues in Full screen using Vista Ultimate, IE 7 Flash 10.

Click on a BLUE /\ arrow to see popup pano. Then click on the double red boxes on the tool bar for full screen. This was created with Pano2VR exporting out using flash 9 content.

Thanks for checking Dave - that worked for me too. Can you see if this works on your system:

Also made with Pano2VR v2.1 using Flash 9 output.

Yes, your cylinders at St Peters in Rome continue to rotate at full screen.

Thanks for the view. We have not visited Rome in a long time.
