hello,
i am trying to make a infobox with picture like this.
one hotspot template and the text and the picture should change.
text is no problem with the description field ($hd) but is ther a possibility for changing the picture to the relative hotspot.
e.g. means: can i take the picture hotspot, fill in the text, put in the path to the picture and use my picture template? (that seems the easeast way..)
another solution: external loader, more different pictures in the loader and make the request if the title of the hospot is A take the picture A.jpg if the title is B take b.jpg ...and so on.
but nothing worked!
is there a solution? do i overlook an easy way?
thanks,
wiso

Hi wiso,
Please see attached.
The Hotspot type is set to Image, this allows you to add images per hotspot.
I am using my own Skin-ID for the Hotspot Template.
The hotspot set's the image and text.
The close button unloads the data on click, I am using a variable to show and hide the popup.
The $(r) is used so the image can still be referenced if used with Wordpress or other odd servers.

thank you hopki, but for better understanding:
where is the reverence which brings die picture path to the extern loader? is it the $(r)?
oh i see it by myself:
$(r) = hotspot URL – (use in conjunction with $(hu): $(r)$(hu)) This placeholder was added to be used with $(hu) to fix an issue that was affecting images in WordPress.
that means: $(r)$(hu) can always be used to read the path adress and use it in the skin?!
thanks,
best regards,
wiso

Hi wiso,
Using $(r) helps to correct path problems which can be seen in WordPress and other odd hosting sights.
$(hu) on its own work outside of these sites.
As $(r)$(hu) will work in all situations you would use it if you're making a component.

Hello Hans,
what is the goal?
A: To have x pictures, shown at once ( at the same time)
or
B: To have a kind of picture gallery, so, to be able to click to the next picture, if only one pic is shown at the time
or
C: To have a gallery plus timer, that shows the x pictures sequentially.
If "A" you need to think about the layout also.
Hi Hans,
Here is a sample of a Pano2VR component that is a responsive info box with a gallery, https://p2vr.s3.ap-southeast-2.amazonaw ... index.html

Hi Hans,
what you want is exactly what Hopki showed on Apr 20, 2020 in this thread.
It is the small project that he attached, called: "popup.zip"
