viewing completed tour offline

hi all

I understand that to view all URL links / hotspots (i.e. a completed 'tour' I must upload to my webspace due to security with Flash). Question is, I am off on holiday for 2 weeks, and am taking my laptop with me to continue learning skin editor etc. I will not be able to upload with FTP whilst away. Is there a stand-alone software app I can download that will let me view a completed tour as if it is hosted online so I can check all my maps, hotspots and links are working correctly?

cheers
Stuart

I long ago use VertrigoServ - it's server emulator for debugging any webprojects

local env. - Apache 2.x.x, PHP 5.x.x, MySQL 5.x.x, and PhpMyAdmin...

http://vertrigo.sourceforge.net/ (Windows only)

Can someone give me a bit of heads-up as to how to use this software? Do I need to point / target each .swf to each other in one folder on my machine for it to work / emulate?

cheers

Install and Run VertrigoServ...

Copy your content (your site) into "www" folder (this folder containing in VertrigoServ installation derictory)...

Open your browser - http://localhost - and voila :)

This will completely emulate working and behavior the server in network , and your FTP folder "www" (but local)...

remove temporary created content in "www" folder:

index.php
folders "gfx" and "inc"

rename your first start html to index.html

and try again http://localhost/

So, have deleted the index.php file, and deleted the 'gfx' and 'inc' folders:

renamed 'start.html' to 'index.html', and that html panorama works (note in url browser: http://localhost/start.html).

but, when I click on the yellow arrow, a hotspot to begin the tour (circled red above), the browser calls for the next page online:

What am I doing wrong - is sooooo frustrating!! All I want to do is be able to present a Tour offline to a Client. Should be straightforward enough, but I can't seem to configure VertrigoServ and I can't find any other WYSIWUG GUI emulators online........

More numpty help please!

need relative link - like as "VT/branston/pano007.html" (into button link) this will work local and on internet server...

Create on www folder 2 sub-folders VT/branston/ .... your local url must be such http://localhost/VT/branston/

*this is a simple for child's understanding

Ego plus quam feci, facere non possum lat.

I've copied my site into the 'www' folder within Vertrigo Serv, and run the 'http:/localhost' comand, and whilst the banner of my webpage appears, the content of each page comes out like this;

What am I doing wrong?
