Gyro + ios 13.4

Hi all, is there a difference between gyro functionality between iPhone and iPad?
I've been working through Hopki's earlier advice incorporating my v5 skin tour and gyro into the simplex_v6 skin.
The gyro button appears on my iphone and works as expected, but the button does not appear on my iPad - both are ios 13.4.
I'm using pano2vr 6.1.4
Given the number of forum topics on gryos I suspect this may be a ios issue.

Also any ideas as to why the map pins do not appear in the chrome browser, but appear in safari and firefox?

Ok - I sorted the iPad issue.
"Settings" - "Safari" - under "settings for web site" - "request desktop website" - turn off for all websites.
This allows the mobile web version to work, and doesn't force the desktop version to load.
