Sharing the output with others

Hi,
Sharing the output with friends or customers, with HTML5 outputs you are very limited because of local file restrictions.
Browsers will not run scripts locally and HTML5 outputs need to do this.

You can with some research find away to get around the restrictions with each browser but this is only good for your own browser, customers will probably be using the default settings.
Pano2VR and Object2VR for that matter have a built-in web server so when you click the open output button the browser thinks it's being served from a website and you see the output.

For showing your customers the tour you have the options of 1) uploading to a server/website and giving them a link. This is probably the better way and hosting now days is quite cheap.

Or 2) you can get them to download our package viewer which is a desktop application for both Windows and Mac, please see this link: https://ggnome.com/ggpkgviewer
This is a free download which you and your customers are welcome to use.

The package viewer can be opened and the output folder be dragged in and it will open the output.
Or, the better thing to do is create a Garden Gnome Package.
This is done by simply clicking the Create Package button.

If your customer has the Garden Gnome Package Viewer installed all they have to do is double click the package and it will open without any restrictions.

If you have Pano2VR installed double-clicking the package will open Pano2VR, but you can configure your computer to use the package viewer to open by default.

The Package Viewer has hidden menus for fullscreen and kiosk modes so best not to give the link to the package viewer page to your customer, just give them the download link.
Regards,
Hopki

I would like to send the URL from my wordpreess website to a client instead of the package the problem is that the URL contains the path to the host folder so that if someone shortens the URL they can see all the files in the Public Folder on my server. I tried to download a Wordpress plugin to creat a shorter URL but when the shortend URL is pasted into Chrome it reverts back to the origanal URL once clicked on.

Any suggestions would be much apreciated
