Image hotspot path changes from URL to file path format when saving

I am trying to put some image popups in my tour. I set the URL path to https://site/folder/subfolder/picture.jpg. As soon as I save or build the tour, the path changes to https:\site\folder\subfolder\picture.jpg. This happens when manually adding the image hotspot or when dragging a web image into the tour. If I leave the hotspot type set to URL, then it works, but the image pops up in a new tab.

Is there a setting or option I might have changed to prevent image popups from working?

Hi,
What should happen is...
Example; If you have a project folder that contains the 360 panoramas, popup image, popup01.jpg and the project file, then when you use an Image hotspot the path in the hotspots properties panel should be the file name: popup01.jpg.
This will copy the image to the output folders images folder when published.

A URL hotspot will not copy the image so will not change.

I think I am missing something else then. I tried a few more times and each time I do an image popup hotspot from the internet, I get an error every time I build the tour. The error is Source file 'C:/Users/dkosmach/Desktop/New folder (2)/https:/i.imgur.com/WGEZgNf.jpg' not found. I've tried from a few difference source locations for the images (imgur, our own website, google images), and I get the same error each time.

Also, it seems I am unable to use images stored on our network for popups. If I set the source path to \\server\folder\pic.jpg, the tour builds without error, but the pic never loads when you click the hotspot. I just see the loading animating and the little X to close the popup viewer. Do I need to copy the pictures I want to use to my local hard drive? I would rather not for this tour because it will be 6,500 pictures that already exist somewhere else on our network.

Also, thanks for the help. :)

Hi,
looking at the path, there seems to be a forward slash missing: https:/i.imgur.com/WGEZgNf.jpg
I opened your link, dragged into Pano2VR, the path is: https://i.imgur.com/WGEZgNf.jpg
This is a bug, if you edit the path by right button clicking on it, don't do anything and just close the box and then export, then it works.
Will bug track tomorrow.

Hopki
