The same as the last time you tried to help me with the gyro problem, that persists. OSX10.10 and Chrome or Safari

It is a known problem explained in krpano, not here.

I will move to krpano, I need to be productive.

With Pano2VR I am fighting everyday against the software, with unsolved bugs. The same problems since version 5 (no google maps, no Web VR, Gyro not working )

As well as Pano2VR I also have a krpano license and to the best of my knowledge the issue of the gyro affects both platforms. In fact the response from Klaus is the same as that from Pano2VR. You need to detect the device iOS, offer a popup and make sure your tour is on a secure server (https).

I don't know if you have used krpano before but personally I find it quite challenging to code in xml but if you are comfortable with that then I'm sure you can achieve a good result. Overall I think you will find Pano2VR has a high rate of version releases and a much more comprehensive video tutorial library.

In regard to viewing your virtual tour in your browser both Pano2VR and krpano have localised servers. Pano2VR's server, called Integrated Web Server, is available in the Pano2VR menubar under Tools. krpano's is a standalone app but both operate in pretty much the same way. In the end you have to go with what you find delivers you the outcome you are looking for. As I said before I find krpano challenging to achieve the level of interactivity I look for and that Pano2VR delivers.

Hi,
If you're opening the HTML page directly from the output folder then you will get the browser local file security problems.
To my knowledge, only Firefox and MS Edge does allow this.
However in Safari if you activate dev mode you can also disable local file security and use this also, but this is a local setting in Safari so not practical.
You can use our free desktop app, the package viewer.
You can open it and drag in your output folder.
