It's been 10 years since I used Pano2VR and in the years between I've been using Kolor Panotour Giga. Now it's abandoned, and I'm looking at Pano2VR as an alternative.
First obstacle: Input image type !
I have a partial sphere, 78x22 degrees, 1.4 gigapixel.
I can't find an image type for this, it's not cylindrical, flat or equirectangular. there are no partial sphere.

Suggestions ?

Hi leifs,
Can you not convert it to an Equirectangular image by adding borders in photoshop?
You can then use viewing parameters to limit the view.
Also, can you send in a lower resolution image for me to have a look at?
Please use the support e-mail below.

Hi
For this spesific pano I've rerendered it to cylinder projection, as an workaround. The difference between partial sphere and cylinder are small.
I have approx 30 gigapixel partial spheres panos I need to move from flash to html5 and not all of them are suited for cylinder projections because of the stretch on the edges. Or maybe Pano2VR undo the stretch when I choose cylinder projection ?
Here are an example of the panos that has to be moved to html5
