Hello,

I tried the local server integrated (I'm on Windows 7) to try my tour with my oculus without uplaod all the projet into my web server. The occulus can't
open the link 192.168.172.1:XXXXX and my mobile and tablette too. But I tried it on my laptop at home (Windows 10) and it works fine.
Why it can't work on my PC at the office?

Does anybody have a solution?

Tks a lot.

Hi,
Firstly and I forgot to ask in the e-mail, make sure you deselect Network access: Only local host as found under , File > Settings > Web Server.
Also try adding a port number like 8000, then close teh Settings.

Under the Menu bar select Tools > Integrated Web Server. Click restart server button.
Then click the Open Output button in the HTML5 output.

You should see the served files in the web server.
Now enter the address in your browser URL text field.

Regards,
Hopki

Tks for the answer.
I did all you said. It works on the computer but not wh my smartphone or oculus or tablette (both on the same network).
Maybe it can due to the router...

I uploaded in attachment a print screen:
1 : Disable deselected network
2: why I have 4 adress here?
3 : works on the same computer
4: print screen of my mobile connected to the office network. I can't have access
5: Firewall alowed to acces to pano2vr

Hi,
I see you have a few address, you need to select the network your phone or tablet is also on.
Example: http://192.168.1.219:8000
So open your devices network settings and see what its IP address is, example a phone is on 192.168.1.
So I would use the address that starts with this http://192.168.1.xxx:xxxx

Hi Hopki,

I'm trying to do the same thing and connect my iPad to my iMac but I'm getting the "There was a problem connecting to the server"

On the iPad the IP Address is: 192.168.178.25 - Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 - Router 192.168.178.1

In Pano2VR preferences I've got the following set:

favicon-grab-2.jpg
favicon-grab-2.jpg (70.32 KiB) Viewed 3382 times

I've restarted the Server and I get these addresses:

favicon-grab-3.jpg
favicon-grab-3.jpg (89.42 KiB) Viewed 3382 times

When I publish a project the URL is http://localhost:8080/hbUAn736/index.html

On the iPad I enter the iP 192.168.178.22:8080 but after entering my User Name and Password I get the error message. Any idea what's up?

cheers,

Tony

Hi Tony,
Here are my settings:

Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 10.44.48.png (26.06 KiB) Viewed 3365 times

When I open my webserver lit looks like this:

Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 10.47.43.png
Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 10.47.43.png (41.57 KiB) Viewed 3365 times

I then tend to use the secure server.
You will get an error message saying there is a risk!

Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 10.59.48.png (98.8 KiB) Viewed 3365 times

The next screen is for you to confirm the risk and you're happy to advance.

The above screenshots are from Firefox but you will see similarities with other browsers.

Once you accept the risk you then go on to see the webserver:

Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 11.02.49.png
Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 11.02.49.png (46.25 KiB) Viewed 3365 times

Your folder name will be different.

Screenshot 2019-11-20 at 11.02.57.png (69.19 KiB) Viewed 3365 times

You will then see the output using the secure server and able to test projects with the gyroscope and WebVR.

Of course, things like firewalls and other security software can prevent the webserver from working and of course make sure all devices are all on the same network.

Hopki

Thanks Mate,

Followed the instructions and got it working on the iPad/Android S8

I was trying to use Files app on the iPad and 'Connect to the Server' and that wasn't working. However on the iPad, by typing in 192.168.178.22:8080, into Chrome I could access the directory with the project. Also worked on the Samsung S8
