P2VR V6 (all versions) crashes each time I want to start it (solved)

Hi guys,

sorry if this ist he wrong place for this, is there a place for bugreports?

I tried to start P2VR 6 today – I was able to open it, but projects' output showed only a white image, no skin elements, no panos in Chrome. Closed P2VR, tried to reopen it, but it since then it crashes all the time on start.

When I try to open it, it trys to load, but only a white screen appears. The pop up screen is visible, also the last two projects I worked with. But when I try to open one of them, Windows tells me „pano2vr.exe does not react“ . I deinstalled it, installed different V6 Versions (betas und also the newest version) – no change. Only difference: in V6 beta 1 not even the pop up shows up… restarted the machine, made sure everything is updated… Working with Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.17763 Build 1776

BUT –> Version 5 works.
Correction: just in the moment when I tried to do a screencapture, P2VR 5 stopped working, too. Suddenly the same behavior as V6.

Anyone with the same problem? Any solutions? Everything worked fine last Wednesday…

Hi Sanny,
For bug reports it's better to send it to support@ggnome.com.
But what is your computers spec?
Just open Pano2VR without trying to open an old project, does it open?
If so try making a quick project with couple of panoramas.
It may be the old skin, if you then use an old skin do you then get problems?

No, it crashes, whether or not I try to open an "old" file. (the old file is from last week anyway. )

I cant enter P2VR at all. Always the same behavior as shown in the video.

Ill write an email, too.

What specs do you need exactly?

So for everybody to know - Hopki helped with a little magic-file, which removed everything concerning P2VR from the system (including custom skins and so on) Now, with a clean install, everything works fine again.
