Hello,

we have completed a Pano2VR project that our customers would like to have in an offline form as well.
I was about to send the .ggpkg file when I noticed that videos aren't playing in the viewer. I can scroll through them and they show as loaded, but they won't play automatically and they won't play by using a play button.
The videos are relatively small (~30 MB) .mp4 files.

What can I do?

Best regards
Sascha

Hi Sascha,
Can you give me a bit more information.
Windows or Mac, which version of Pano2VR.
Pinned videos or popups using the skin?
Regards,
Hopki

Hello Hopki,

of course:
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Pano2VR 6.0.1 pro 64bit (Revision: 17227/5.9.4)
I'm using a skin, the base is silhouette.ggsk where I'm using ht_video_file with a changed icon. The videos work on a web server tho.

I've done a quick test on a clean computer we just got and there the videos play (Installing the GGPKG viewer, drag & drop project). When closing the pano tho, the same error message occurs.

Best regards

Hello again,

after a simple restart the videos also run on this PC now. But the error message always pops up still, after closing. Sound keeps playing as well till the error message is clicked. Would be great to have no error message for the customer.

Best regards

HI Sascha;

I had a similar problem a while back;I solved it by outputting the tour then creating a new folder for videos and editing the output code..

The GGPKG is really good for testing some things but doesnt show other things; that will work once online.

Your clients will have to run and install nw.exe ( have a look in the forums). There is a bit of work involved and make sure you are working to clients systems; ie 32 or 64bit as this caused me a lot of trouble.

Feel free to pm me or post if you are stuck and I'll try and assist.

Hi Guys,
I made a project, attached
media.ggpkg
(3.52 MiB) Downloaded 203 times
In node one it has a popup video (file) and in node two a popup image.
I used the silhouette skin and I used the Greate Package button.
I also manually made a package,
media2.ggpkg
(3.53 MiB) Downloaded 184 times
from the output filer and using add file for external embedding.
Both play in the Package Viewer on the Mac.
Will test on the PC later, but please test my packages on your systems, do they work?

Hopki
