Poly hotspot - update "target" value from skin?

Hi,
I'm working with the tutorial from Tony (https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr/polygon-hotspots-proxy) - thanks for that - in order to create several polygon hotspots.
I'm using the "target" field from polygon hotspot to store a numeric value, in order to update some variables defined in the skin on click of the hotspot. This works fine.
However, do you know if there is a way to do the opposite: update the hotspot "target" value from the skin ?(I need to initialize it to 0 from the skin)
