Tour browser preview "reload"

Hi there!
Did you have a solution to re"rendering" the preview in the tour browser?
The preview shows me not the real picture - Screenshot shows a black nadir.

Hi Rene,
The thumbnails show the pano as it has been added to the project file.
If you convert the pano to the same projection with patches selected this it will become part in the image and therefore be shown in the tour browser.

As Pano2VR saves TIFF images with multi resolution tile data this would be a huge advantage when opening the project as it will open almost instantly without having to load the input images.
So add all your TIFFs, level and patch as needed.
Then select from the menu Tour => Edit Master Node.
Then under the properties panel select Convert Images.
This will then let you save to a folder.
As it converts it will replace the image with the new levelled and patched panos.

Hopki

Hi Hopki!

Thanks - I use "Super" TIFF for the https://lech.winter.360ty.world and https://lech.sommer.360ty.world project and it works fine with this tours and all the gigapixel panos in the tour!

An optimation for the workflow - when I have to correct colors in a tour node I have to save the "super" TIFF as PSB and then I open the file in Photoshop. Correct colors, save it, open it in Pano2VR and save it in "super" TIFF .... many steps and waiting time by file sizes by 8 - 20 TB ;-)

If you have a better idea, please let me know!

Rene

Hi Rene,
When you say Super TIFF do you mean Big Tiff?
You should only save as a tiled multi resolution tiff once you have done all your photo editing.
If you still prod and poke at the image after then this is not the workflow for you.

Hopki

Hi Hopki!

Yes (Super TIFF) BIG TiFF with the header for speed loading.
Today we have the workflow ... PSB at first and then TIFF after all photo editings.
But many times we see a "little thing" in the gigapixels and then we have to reconvert from TIFF to PSB ... correct colors, etc. and start the PSB TIFF workflow from begin. With gigapixel files 30 minutes at least.
Some small improvements we do with Pano2VR and save the updates in the web-upload but the bigger updates like color corrections we need the PSB workflow for now.

On my wishlist --> A PSB Export for the BIG TiFF with the header! ;-)

Best,
Rene

PS: A lot of snow fallen in the Alps ... now we have a winter wonderland https://360.lechzuers.com/pano/12?Pano= ... 13#Shot1-1
