I'm sure this probably has been asked even though I couldn't find it, but any future plans for an app like Kolor had for Panotour Pro? The app was awesome for hosting tours offline and I would be willing to pay for this feature in case you ever consider it.

Thanks!

Hi Jeff,
You can use the iBooks template and use the iBooks app.
This then allows you to make an iBook full of tours!
For the desktop we also have a free app for this too.

Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately the iBooks Author app is only available on the Mac desktop.

On iOS the Pages app has a Books section with templates but it doesn't allow for any interactive elements beside video so it can embed panorama files.

So basically my only chance to display tours offline is the GoodReader?

Sorry Chris, I thought I was replying to Jeff.

No you do have other options. You could take a look at Viseni Tour Loader App for iOS - Android https://apps.apple.com/es/app/viseni-to ... 1440327070

YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lQMUsDujGI

Or if you really want control you can check out my PhoneGap tutorials for iOS https://tonyredhead.com/phonegap-build/ ... urs-part-1 Just keep in mind that Apple make it quite onerous to build for their platform but it can be done.

I'm also beta testing a new iOS/Android app that provides online and offline tours in a package that you can configure yourself. I'll post when it is available outside of beta.

cheers,

Tony

No problem! :-)

Gosh! Viseni TourLoader looks exactly like what I've searched for...

I got a customer last week and I created the tour in 3dvista for showcase reasons, and I was afraid that I now need to build tours in both programs.

Wonder what exactly do you meant with "more control"? Once I can showcase my pano2vr tours offline exactly as I created them and as they will look like on the device in the end its all I could ask for... and that seems to be done by Viseni?

Still Im always curious so it would be great if you could tell me what do you mean by this exactly :-)

Again: Cant thank you enough for your informations above!!!!!!!! Seriously!!!!!!!

Hi Chris,

I mean that you have more control over the complete UI of the App. You can brand it, make it look exactly like you want it to look and even add additional information outside of the tour.

Thanks, appreciate it.

Sounds interesting indeed! Since the guide for this is a super long and in depth one I bet it's all explained in there. Guess I will 100% give it a try next before the other app! :-)

Hi Chris,

The app I'm beta testing is looking very good and I think the developers will release it soon. So hang in there for it.

cheers,

Tony

I will do so!

And until that I will simply use the Viseni Tourloader. :-) Only thing I ask myself is... how do I set a preview thumbnail?
For the demo tours inside of Viseni the preview thumbnail isn't the starting point of the tour. That's why I wonder about this

Btw any chance to get to know the name of that app that you are beta testing currently?

I've got the tour working with the Viseni Tourloader, but there is no sound. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi,

The mobile app I was testing has now been released. I've posted information and some links in the Commercial Offerings forum.

Hi,

You might want to take a look at https://360appmaker.com they have an offline solution for both iOS and Android for $99 and an online version on a subscription basis.

It is also possible to have 360appmaker make a version you can publish on the App Store and Play Store. Here is a link to my App Store version, I'm waiting for the review of my Play Store version.
