Hi,

Just a quick note about V6. I have used the beta releases until the the last beta without any major problems, but after installing V6 the cardboard output seems to be not working. I do get two screens next to each-other but they are not linked, as if you have two sepperate tours next to eachother. Also the 'stare' is not working. This is on desktop Windows 10 with latest Firefox, IE, Chrome and Edge.
On mobile (iPhone 7 iOS 12.1 and latest Safari ) the gyro is not working the picture is frozen solid .....

My first V6 (non beta) tour is located here: https://www.skyfocus.nl/SkyFocus/Tours/ ... meyer2/vr/

I will investigate if there are some cardboard template changes, but this behavior is also present in the newly installed unedited cardboard template.

Regards,

Arjan

Hi Arjan,
Your page is showing 404, file not found for the pano2vrgyro.js file.
That would cause it.
The Cardboard ggt still uses the external JavaScript file.

Hi Arjan,
Windows 10, new project and cardboard export includes the pano2vrgyro.js.

Hi Hopki,

Somehow my reply yesterday evening is not in the tread anymore ...... !?

You say "new project and cardboard export includes the pano2vrgyro.js"

Is that after downloading and installing Pano2VR V6 again ?
It looks like it is the same binary as of the 21st.
I have reinstalled at and made a new export but it still does not contain the pano2vrgyro.js file.

When I trace it back where it is been copied in the original cardboard.ggt
"document.addfile("../common/pano2vrgyro.js","pano2vrgyro.js");"

It is pulled out of the 'HtmlTemplates/common' directory. I have changed this path in the settings to a shared (dropbox) directory so I can access it from both my desktop and laptop (I have some custom .ggt files).

The cardboard.ggt in that directory has got a timestamp that matches the new version (21-11-2018), but the "common" directory is empty. That explains why it has not been copied ....

Could something still be wrong with the installation of these files ?

Arjan

Hi Arjan,
This should be there!
If you go to the Templates folder for V6: HtmlTemplates
Rename it to say old_HtmlTemplates, then open Pano2VR will see it's missing and rebuild it.
Then you should see it: HtmlTemplates\common\pano2vrgyro.js
