Hi,

Is there a way to produce hotspot buttons like the ones you see on FPP with Pano2VR? I have a client who would like this, I just can't get my head around FPP. We wish to create hotspot buttons that enlarge slightly with a bouncy type of feel to them when you mouse over.

I'm still having problems with the hotspot creator on my main computer, it crashes as soon as I open it every time. Works ok on my laptop though. Also the undo function crashes on the Skin Editor nearly every time. It must be clashing with something on my computer, any ideas?

Best Wishes,

Pete

Do you have an example to show what you mean?

This is very odd... Do you have problems with other software or is it just with Pano2VR?

Here's an example I found on the FPP forum - http://www.gordoneverett.co.uk/Virtul_T ... cians.html Would be great to be able to produce this with Pano2VR.

The crashing problem is quite frustrating, have no problems like this with any other software no. If you need any more info on it I can let you know - just ask. The windows popup thingy has some data - I don't know if that is of any use to you?

Cheers,

I would be very interested in this as well. The current hotsopts created in the hotspot editor have no visible marker until you are over them, and when you mouseover, there is a very unattractive text box.
If there was a way to attach an image or swf to use as the hotspot button, that would be perfect.
I know this can be done using the flash api, and probably the skin editor, but those take considerable time to implement.
It would drastically speed up workflow if we could do something like this via the hotspot editor. What do you think?

I think it is a good idea... and this will come soon. But first I want to finish the Object2VR beta.

I'm trying to test linking a website to a hotspot and its not working for me.

The flash VRpano works and opens up fine in Firefox. I can see the hotspot, but when I click on it I get to following error message.

"File Not Found
The file /D:/Photos/plumbing VRs 1_25_07_08/VRs/www.tafesa.edu.au/Careers/BuildingFurni ... fault.aspx cannot be found. Please check the location and try again."

Why is my browser looking for the location of my source file (D:/Photos/plumbing VRs 1_25_07_08/VRs/)? Is it because the flash VR needs to be uploaded to the web before it can link to web pages?

I'm using Pano2VR 2.0.2 on XP, im making flash VRs and viewing them in Firefox 3.0.1

Please help

Thanks for your help.

Putting in the whole URL including the "http://" works with my Quicktime VR exports.
When I try it with flash exports the link doesn't work at all. When i click on the hotspot nothing happens, I don't even get an error message.

Any advice?

Cheers

Then you have to upload it to the web server or declare your file location as accessible zone as described in http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/artic ... ck_03.html
