Hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue, I'm trying to put background sound on to my projects, however the sound comes on for for a split second then stops almost like it fails to play or stutters, it sometimes works on chrome but its still off from time to time, I've even seen an example by Tony redhead ( https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr/node-specific-bg-sounds) but the same thing happens. is there anyway round this or is sound not possible on the main browsers (chrome, safari)

im working on a 2017 MacBook Pro and using mp3 files as suggested so im pretty sure its not something im doing but ive been wrong before

Hi Tom,
This is yet another problem with Safari!
I take it it works with all other browsers, if not let me know but we are aware that Safari is broke.
However if you set Safari to auto start Media with sound this it plays ok.
