External Image Loader tutorial ?

Hi.
New user of Pano2VR, and my first post. Be gentle

I'm building a basic project which is a room with pictures on the walls, and objects in display cases.
I have close up images of the pictures and objects.
When the user clicks a hotspot (or small icon) for something in the 360 view, I want appropriate large image to popup.
I have done some reading in the forum and understand this is better handled with an external image loader, instead of just using the normal (embedded?) image icon.

What I just can't figure out is how to find / use / setup an external image loader for each picture.
Could someone point me to a step by step tutorial ?

In my tutorial Zooming Popup with Reveal Text Overlay - Part 1 : https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr/hotspot ... -reveal-p1 Step 4: Building the Image Element shows how to set up a skin for an external image. Have a go at the whole tutorial as it may be a good way to show the images you have.
