Hi all,
i have a problem with the new floor plan feature in V6. It all works just fine until i want to export the tour. The map images (in the folder images/maptiles) always have 0 Bites and dont contain any image at all. When I run the tour I just get a box whit the "image missing" symbol where the map should be. I already tried to lower the resolution of the map and also changed the file from .jpg to .png, but that all didnt help.
Any Ideas?
Thanks for any help,
Felix

Hi Felix,
I am not seeing to much wrong with the p2vr file.
Things to try, rename the folder with the map images to: Plane_fur_Tour.
Does it help?
If not then try setting the map element in the skin to Simple Floor Plan.
Does this help?
If none of the above is helping maybe try remaking a new project with say only two panoramas and then add your map and skin.
Does it work?
If not then e-mail in to support and we can set up a Skype call.

Hopki

Hi Felix,
I have had a look at your project and yes this is very odd.
However I have found it is due to the floor plan image!
I noticed it had a colour profile of: Dot Gain 15%
So I opened in Photoshop and saved for web, it now shows colour profile of: RGB and now opens ok.
It did crash Pano2VR 6 which it should not so I will write up a bug report.

Hi Hopki,
I just wanted to tell you, that this problem is still existing.
I searched for a while now, why my tour is missing the image of the floor plan until I found this post from 2018.
So for me the color profile was set so gray/8 and grayscale D50 - no image was visible in the tour. When changed to RGB (I tried rgb16 and rgb32) things are working.
Greetings,
Ben
