User navigation in v. 6

In this drone-shot pano created in v. 5.2.3, user navigation is as expected. Downward navigation stops at the -90° point as I wish.

But in the same pano created in v. 6 (beta 3), navigation continues past -90° (in a full vertical circle), even though the limit is still set at -90°. I think this would be potentially confusing to the user.

ALSO, in the v.6 version, on my iPhone, when I manually scroll the image, it snaps back to the gyro-set position automatically. This behavior does not occur in the v. 5 version. This behavior IMHO should be able to be toggled off.
Are there things I can do to make the v. 6 version user experience the same as it is in the v. 5 version?
Thank you.
