Google maps change 11June

Question : For the standard virtual tour using google maps, are they affected by the new google change? Do we have to repeat each online virtual tour?

Hi,
For a self hosted tour using a Google Map you would have your own API key or your customers.
So this should not effect this.
It stopped do more with Street View projects and things like looking up places etc.
Still very much in the air and we need more clarification from Google.

Yes, that´s what I was thinking, but I needed your confirmation.
I still need to search for my Google map key, do we have access to it inside Pano2VR?

Hi,
Yes you can use your API in the map tool in the skin editor but now with 5.2.4 in the Advanced tab in the settings/Preferences.
Don't have to do this just yet but if we are forced to turn it off you can then use your own account.
