Possible to change elevation of Auto Place hotspots?

Post by mbb » Thu May 03, 2018 6:19 pm

Pano2VR V6.b2 Win10

I have a tour where I have used Auto Place for the hotspot targets, but I need to have the hotspots at different elevations. Is this possible? I thought I would be able to uncheck the Auto Place check box, edit the tilt and then re-check Auto Place (I can see that the new tilt value is retained but grayed out, so I thought it would still use the new value), but this has no effect.

Hi,
In V6 beta 2 you can turn on altitude for the hotspots.
Go to Pano2VR settings/preferences => Advanced => Use altitude for ghost hotspots and auto-place hotspots
Of course you need altitude data in the image for this to work.
If yous image does not have altitude data this then yes unlock the point hotspot and move it up or down.
The lock will use the data in the image and snap the hotspot back.

On this point, can images without altitude data default to 0.0m instead of -10000.00m?

I can change it pretty easily by editing the .p2vr file but I can set up relative heights more easily if I can go up and down from zero with the altitude on panos I want to connect higher/lower.

thanks!

Hi enertiv,
Can you send me one of your panos that does this?
