Some of my panos have their tilt limited to -22.51 to +22.51

I am not sure what I did, but I loaded a bunch of pano images and now when I click on some of them in the tour browser, they can only be moved up and town (tilt) -22.51 to +22.51.

I have right clicked in the tour browser and looked at the file in finder and loaded it into a pano viewer and it looks fine, 2:1 pano.

I must have changed something but I do not know what. I was busy in the tour map, manually linking panos when I noticed it. Perhaps I clicked something there?

I have attached two screenshots showing the only differences I can see.
In the properties -input, on the panos that are not displaying right I see "Horizontal FoV: 360"
On the panos that display correctly I do not see this.

I have been clicking between a good and bad pano for ages trying to see what is different but that is the only thing I spot and I cannot figure out how to change it.

How do I fix it?

-Dennis

Hi Dennis,
In the first screen shot Pano2VR has detected it is a cylinder.
I would make sure it is defiantly 2:1, it has to be exact.
Photoshop is know to add the odd pixel, if you have used this to touch up the image.
If your still getting problems then can you send me the panorama in question?

Hi Dennis,

I just resized one of my panoramas in Photoshop to 6,000 x 2,999 and loaded it into Pano2VR. I got exactly the same Input settings as you did. So as Hopki says check the size to see if it's exactly 2:1

So exact 2:1 ratio pixel dimensions would be 6000 x 3000 px.

You guys are legends. I thought I was going crazy :!:

That is the first time that has ever happened to me in thousands of panos. I will take a look to see if Lightroom or AutoPano Giga was the culprit. I am certain I selected a 2:1 aspect ratio in LR.

It's going to be one of those weeks, I can tell.

I had another first on this tour. I left out the panos from an entire section of the marina! The customer reviewed the tour and never noticed.Too many things that look identical. Luckily I noticed last night. That is what I am adding now. I'll sneak it in and nobody will ever know.

Many thanks!

Also maybe Pano2vr Cube face conversion.

Original image is 2:1 say use 6000 x 3000.
Convert to cube face tiles.... edit tiles.... then convert back to Equirectangle - note Pano2vr might suggest width might now read 5999. Be sure to the suggested value to read 6000 px and then click the convert button.

It has to do with pano2vr using Pano Width / Pi 3.1415??????????????? to get cube 6 cube face tiles, then converting back to equirectangule using tile size x Pi 3.1415 results in a 5999 value instead of 6000. Its all in the infinite decimal places.

It might be one of those weeks.... ONLY if it rains again.
