Pinned video in stereo pairs?

Is it possible to pin a video into stereo pairs so that it a) is positioned correctly in both and b) plays back simultaneously in both?
I've managed to pin the same video separately into the two images and manually position it so it works, but they start playback at different times and so are out of sync.
Any advice?
