Capture image from published HTML5 360

Post by BCarter » Thu Sep 07, 2017 6:05 pm

We are using Pano2VR V5.2 to generate linked 360-degree views. How can we programmatically extract image of current view from a Pano2VR HTML5 published output? Basically, we need some sort of API (JavaScript API or web service) which could facilitate image capture based on a user's view: Pan, Tilt, and FoV parameters.

We are aware that this is a feature request for version 6.0, but if any users have found a good way to do this on the user or server side please let us know. We are trying to use this as a "camera" feature and need to take a picture of what the user sees, save the "photo" they took for their use later in the program.
