autoaction after quicktime finished playing

hi,

i know this is a little offtopic, but can anybody advice me if and when how it is possible to perfom an action after quicktime has finished to play a film.

background:
i want to play a film before the player automatically loads the quicktime VR. so the action would be to load a new quicktime.mov (the VR) when finished playing.
i also have a film at the end. which was quite easy to achieve. just made a hotspot as an exit and pressing this loads a quicktime.mov (film) which then plays automatically.

is this possible ?

i was thinking about doing it all in flash, but the performance of the flash panos is much worse the when playing with quicktime.
quality is very important on this one.
the whole project will be desktop based, so no online loading and the stuff.

should be PC.

but as this is the only task i am unable to do so far, i am really looking to a quicktime solution here.
is there no script thing i can add at the end of the movie to open a new one ?

sorry can´t see any film and VR combinations in there.
i don´t need an embedded video. i only want to run a video with quicktime player - or maybe other player and then run the VR automatically.
