Remove inline styles created in skins GUI

Hi There,
hoping for some help from the community and also first post so let me say Hi everyone. Looking forward to chatting and giving back once I've got through the pano2vr learning curve
So.. my question if you please -
I'm using an external style sheet to enhance a skin, however I am fighting the inline styles created by the skins GUI.
For example take padding - So far my choice is 0px and upwards. but I can't find an option to simply not specify padding so my external stylesheet can handle it instead.
Same problem for color, size, position etc etc etc
Any thoughts on how to resolve this appreciated
